DESCRIPTION:
COLORPAVE (neutral base) is a high solids conditioning compound manufactured from 100% acrylic resins fortified with specially selected reinforcing fibres, powders and aggregate fillers for slip resistance and durability. COLORPAVE is supplied in a neutral colour to allow for easy on site mixing with a DP Colour Pack. The colour pack is supplied separately and available in range of colours.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:
COLORPAVE has been specifically formulated to protect and beautify asphalt pavement surfaces, including roadways, pavements, driveways, parking lots, airports and recreational areas. Generally anywhere conventional asphalt surfaces are used.

COLOUR:
Supplied in a neutral colour. COLORPAVE is designed to be mixed with a Colour Pack to achieve the desired colour. Colour Packs are sold separately and available in a range of standards colours.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Surface Preparation: Surfaces must be clean and free from all loose materials, dirt, grease and oil. Concrete and Asphalt substrate to be pressure cleaned and allowed to dry. Concrete substrate to be primed with Adseal Primer E. Asphalt substrates do not require any primer but may require one or more applications of Resurfacer if excessively porous. Non-structural cracks, holes and any other surface deformities to be rectified. Soft and damaged asphalt to be removed and repaired. Repair and patch deformities with a mix of 4 parts COLORPAVE blend and 2 parts neat cement by volume. A small amount of water may be added to the blend but only sufficient to produce a workable consistency and minimise shrinkage. Method: COLORPAVE can be applied by a standard paint roller, squeegee, broom, or specialised spray equipment. Small areas such as detailing may be applied by brush. Apply a minimum of 2
coats to achieve a uniform finish. For optimum performance apply an application of the same coloured ColorSeal. Open and porous surfaces may require additional treatment to ensure an even texture and finish. Mixing Procedures: Standard 15Ltr pail: Add one standard DP Colour Pack (500 mls) to the neutral base, mix thoroughly until completely dispersed and colour is even throughout the blend. A small amount of clean water, if necessary may be added to facilitate application. Bulk: 200Ltr drum Following the same procedure as for the 15 litre pail add 1x4 Litre, DP Colour Pack and 40 litres of clean water.
LIMITATIONS:
Do not apply if rain is imminent or when temperatures are below 10°C or above 35°C or in situations where the relative humidity is greater than 80%. Do not apply to pavement surfaces that have previously been sealed with bitumen or coal tar based sealers.
COVERAGE:
Coverage rates may vary due to pavement porosity and method of application. Extremely porous pavement will typically result in excess product usage. For estimating purposes typically one litre of Neutral Base will cover approximately three square metres on concrete base and two square metres on a tight asphalt base. Typical two coat installation will require approximately 0.67 litres per square metre on concrete and 1.00 litres per square metre on asphalt.
