DESCRIPTION: 

UV is an extremely long lasting UV resistant premium pure acrylic exterior surface coating. 

USES: 

As a decorative and protective coating, for external use over most common building substrates and is also commonly used over popular textured coatings such as TRAVERTINE TROWEL. As a wear coat over TRAVERTINE TROWEL it provides a far more cleanable and stain resistant surface. 

PROPERTIES: 

Colour: All colours available including traditional. A colour matching service is available for specific projects. 
Gloss Level: Satin 
Durability: Excellent 
Solvent Resistant: Sensitive to aromatic hydrocarbons and alcohols. 
Toxicity: Lead free. 

SURFACE PREPARATION: 

Surfaces to be painted should be dry and free from dust, grease and dirt. Remove flaking and powdering paint and repair surface imperfections with a suitable filler. 

APPLICATION: 

Stir well and apply liberally straight from the can. This paint has been specially formulated for rolling, but may also be applied by brush or spray.
BRUSH OR ROLLER: Use a short nap roller (e.g. rolana or orlon). Avoid excessive brushing or rolling back into paint which has been drying some minutes. Dampen very porous dry surfaces and add 100 ml water per litre to the first coat only. 
CONVENTIONAL SPRAY: Up to 125 ml per litre of water may be added to aid atomisation. Satisfactory application has been obtained by using the following spray equipment or equivalent. De Vilbiss JGA gun, 704 air cap, E fluid tip, E needle. 
AIRLESS SPRAY: use tip orifice of 325-425 micrometres (13-17 thou). at 13.8-20.6 Mpa (2000-3000 p.s.i) 100 mesh filter. Up to 30 ml per litre of water may be added to aid atomisation. 

EQUIPMENT CLEAN UP: 

Water.
