DESCRIPTION:
CURE-CRETE A is a special blend of resins
and aromatic solvents, specifically designed for use as a concrete curing
compound, complying to the requirements of A.S.T.M. C309.
CURE-CRETE A is a membrane forming seal which is applied to the surface,
to prevent premature evaporation of water and ensure the proper hydration
of the surface.
CURE-CRETE A has fast drying solvents which allows treated floors to be
used earlier and thus allowing construction to proceed with minimal delay.
TYPICAL USES:
CURE-CRETE A is suitable for use on:
* Concrete Floors
* Precast Concrete
* Concrete Walls
* Concrete Tunnels
ADVANTAGES:
* One part material
* No mixing
* Fast drying
* Ease of application
* Minimizes surface shrinkage of concrete.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
Surfaces to be clean and free of dust, oil,
grease and form release agents, can be applied to firm green concrete,
having no water ponding areas.
COVERAGE:
It is recommended that the rate of
application of CURE-CRETE A be applied between 5 to 6 square metres per
litre per coat, generally one coat is sufficient, however this will depend
on the porosity of the cement.
APPLICATION:
CURE-CRETE A can be applied by brush or
spray. Brush: use a soft bristle brush and work surplus material into the
surface. Spray: the application by spray is recommended to ensure an even
distribution of material and prevent ponding.
CAUTION:
CURE-CRETE A is highly flammable, keep
containers closed when not in use, keep away from heat, sparks or open
flame. Avoid application within enclosed areas, use positive fresh air
ventilation, avoid breathing vapour or mist, avoid contact with skin and
eyes.
PACKAGING:
CURE-CRETE A is available in sealed
containers of 20Ltrs and 200Ltrs.
FIRST AID:
If affected by vapour remove from
contaminated area. If splashed in eyes, flush with water immediately. If
swallowed do not induce vomiting, give plenty water or milk.
