DESCRIPTION:

DECO-PAVE is a high quality, high strength thin bed concrete topping. The balanced formula contains only premium raw materials including light stable oxide pigments, graded aggregates, specialty resins, wetting agents and a super-plasticiser.

GUARDSEAL, the clear glaze for DECO-PAVE is based on a premium 100% acrylic resin with excellent resistance to UV light, oil and petrol and is hard wearing.

RECOMMENDED USES:

Driveways, garage floors, rumpus rooms, patios, industrial floors, food preparation and serving areas, cold rooms, show room floors, shopping centres etc.

APPLICATION:

SURFACE PREPARATION: Grease and oil spots should be treated as per the manufacturer's instructions. Water blast the substrate to be treated, to remove all oil, grease, dirt and anything foreign to the surface. Where expansion joints appear, remove sealant and replace to the recommended procedures of joint re: instatement. If there are hairline or small moving cracks, contact the manufacturer's representative for additional information.

BASE COAT: Apply DECO-PAVE base coat, (colour required), to the prepared surface by means of a squeegee or trowel. Allow to dry.

PATTERN FORMING: Using pre-formed stencils or masking tape, form the designed pattern.

TOP COAT: Apply DECO-PAVE top coat, (colour required), by means of a hopper gun. If a further spec or fleck, of a different colour is required, apply as soon as the top coat has tacked off. If a smoother surface is required, flatten the surface with a steel trowel in a circular motion to create a swirl pattern. After this has been completed, remove the stencils or masking tape as soon as possible as to avoid damage to pattern.

SEALER: Allow over night drying and apply 2 coats of GUARDSEAL (clear), by means of a roller or spray at the rate of 6 sqm per litre per coat, allowing 24 hours between coats.

Clean up stencils, tools, etc. in water immediately after use. Sealer- use Toluol or Toluene.
